Acclaimed young adult author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the publisher said: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the move was made after an inquiry regarding allegations of questionable actions towards female individuals.
The company declined to specify the motivations for this action, stating: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Writing Journey
Walliams is one of the UK's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
He has published in excess of 40 works combined, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
