The families of teenagers missing after a tragic blaze at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are facing an painful period of uncertainty for official news and requesting clues about their children publicly.

The inferno devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of January 1st. Circulated video reveal the ceiling catching alight as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.

Officials have stated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the victims of the fire, which killed numerous partygoers and wounded another 119. A spokesperson stated on the latest update that the majority of the those hurt have been identified, with the process continuing to name the remaining few.

In the meantime, loved ones have been posting on online platforms to plead for any news about their friends who were present at the venue that fateful night.

Appeals for the Missing

The whereabouts of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are not yet determined, according to an appeal from his mother.

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise among the missing. His parent told reporters that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and found himself at the venue.
