The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a California Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The influential video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
